I have DISH Network and they told me to pick up an off air antenna but I'm not picking up the local channels in HD. Anyone familiar with how I can fix this seemingly simple problem? I had COX and got all locals in HD.

Go to www.antennaweb.org , type your address and you will get directions on where to point your antenna and recommendations on the antenna gain you need.

use also your TV's "strength signal" meter for digital signals to fine tune the TV's direction. Unfortunately, digital reception is VERY sensitive to the direction of the antenna.

Dish already provides local channels in HD in many areas, so ask them when they plan to provide them in Vegas as well.
