Are Indians in Mexico and Indians in the US the same racial group?

My understanding is that all these people came form Asia 14,000 years ago. The only groups that are different are the Alaskan natives because they came only 1,000 years ago, and that's why they look more like Chinese. What do you know about this?

Yes they were the same ethnic group. They all came fom Asia but then are not similar by culture and other stuff since they were affected by different types of people. Native Americans by AMericans coming west and Mayans, Aztecs, ad other Mexican INdians affected by Europeans.

depends really. because almost every mexican in mexico is native american however alot of them are mixed. because of spanish culture being the dominant culture they identify themselves as hispanic. However they can say that they are native american.

Also there is mtdna evidence they came to america earlier than 14000 years. They even have found fossilized foot prints that date back 40,000 years with carbon dating. So people are not really sure when they came.

Also there is evidence that native americans are linked with polynesians genetically so they dont just come from asia. because polynesians are mixed.in polynesian they are mixed with oriental asians and hindus as well as austrailian ab orginies.
