Follow the logical bouncing ball . . .
Q - What is a farm?
A - A place where people grow food.

I know what food it, so...

Q - What is grow?
A - Use seeds, dirt, water from rain or irrigation, and sunshine, along with a lot of physical work and something will do it - grow.

Ah. Ok so...
Q - What is high tech farm?
A - Replace one or more of the usual factors with something more modern... the more 'modern' it is, the 'higher' the 'tech.'

For example:
Replace natural seeds with bio-engineered seeds, dirt with other growing mediums such as hydroponics, water from rain or irrigation with re-cycled continuous loop systems - such as are needed on spaceships or on Mars - some bright artificial lights instead of sunshine. Maybe you could throw in a few robotic machines to reduce the physical work.

;-D When we go to live on other planets, you can bet that it will all be high tech farming.
