Dell Dim E510. Bought WinTV Go-Plus. Installed it, and have pic but no sound. What's missing? I don't know what else to do. This is frustrating...help if you can. I'm running windows xp and i have mce2005. Hope this helps get me some results.

The wizard could not find a better match for your hardware than the software you currently have installed.
That's the message I got when I checked the properties out and rescanned the disk for the driver for this program. This was for the audio part of the Haup.

MCE2005 isn't recognizing that I have tuner installed. So I don't get it. I have nice picture but nada on sound. So tag your it, Philip :)

I've listed on dell forums, so far no bites of info. Seems like a better/smarter, more caring bunch of ppl are around here thus the reason I took time to ask here.
I've also uninstalled the program and reinstalled, and nada...:(

Have you gone through the Media Center Setup process & properly configured the sound via Media Center ?

If not please do that.
If you have done that already then go to Device Manager in System Properties & look under "Sound Video & Game Controllers".
Do you see you Hauppauge device listed there ?
Choose "Properties" & make sure it is working properly.

If all this is okay then there is an issue somewhere in your Windows sound settings.

If not please add comments to your question with more details.

reinstall the drivers and check volume control

check the volume on on your win tv also the wave volume on your pc volume settings
