hee hee... I am 20 wks tomorrow. This is my third child... and my lord do I ever feel the same exact way! I have been feeling sooooo very hungry and then go to finally eat what I've made and my whole stomach just churns and I dash for the bathroom. I will say however... I have stopped the feelings about 16 wks. I haven't had the symptoms since. However... I do still get nauseous watching food commercials on tv. Ha.

Your hormones are RAGING right now, and it is likely that the morning (NOON AND NIGHT) sickness will continue until around your second trimester. The queasiness you feel is triggered by smells, so try putting a small amount of Vick's Vapor Rub under your nose before eating. Also, take a few small sips of Classic Coca Cola in the A.M. If you become nauseous during the day, nibbling on a few Ginger Snaps helps really well. I have noticed that I was MUCH sicker when I was carrying my boys than I was with my daughter. START PICKING OUT BOY NAMES..........and Congratulations Momma! (Oh, and make sure that hubby understands what food smells trigger your nausea, make sure he keeps a good supply of breath mints on hand. My hubby was good about this, indulging in his favorite philly cheese steak AWAY from the home, and NOT around me!)

Oh it's a horrible feeling. I was just the same.
Of course it will go away, hopefully at around the 12 week stage and definatly at around the 9 -10 month mark!!

Get plenty of rest . I know it's not easy with another little one but see what you can do with help from others.

Try nibbling on bland foods toast, crackers basically anything that takes your fancy. Some people swear by ginger biscuites.
The one thing is for sure your baby will be getting enough nourishment it's just you that's suffering!!
have a word with your Dr or midwife for reassurance.

Good luck!!

Your morning sickness should disappear after the third month, or leading into your second trimester, if it even lasts that long. Not to worry, your baby will not suffer from this, even if you are losing weight because of it. It is only important that you gain the weight back later on in pregnancy. If it becomes incredibly severe, talk to you doctor... you might have hyperemesis gravidarum, which is an exaggerated form of morning sickness in which you are constantly vomiting. However, this is very rare (about 1 in 200 women). Best of luck!

It should pass soon.... normally by the fifteen-week mark, you won't notice that horrible nausea any longer. Remember, each pregnancy is different, so if symptoms are truly bothersome, you should consult with your doctor. At times & in extreme cases, a medication could be prescribed which wouldn't harm the baby. The feeling you're describing, however, is quite normal. I hope it passes very soon & good luck with your pregnancy!

Talk to your doctor about dyclectin. It is an anti-nausea pill for pregnant women. I had dreadful morning sickness, couldn't eat or drink anything, the doctor put me on dyclectin and I haven't had much problem with nausea since. Good luck

I'm 8 weeks pregnant, too.
I will be starving for food, and when I sit to eat, I can only eat a few bites, and then I'm full.

I'm not sick at all, luckily.
