It is call no Rouze, if you want to say happy new year in Farsi to someone you will say: Sale no mobarak" It is a big celebration in Iran, It starts in march 20, usually they celebrate for two weeks in a row, people deep clean their houses, and they have to have a lot of pastries and food because they get a lot of guests. It is the main celebration for Iranians, something like Christmas for us. Good luck!.......
