Area of a parallelogram- length x width
Area of trapezoid- 1/2(base1 - base2)height
Area of rhombus- 1/2 x diagonal1 x diagonal2
Area of square- side squared
Area of triangle- 1/2 x base x height
Area of circle- pie x (radius) squared
Perimeter of a square- 4 x side
Perimeter of rectangle- 2 x base + 2 x height or base+height x 2
Perimeter is the length of all of the sides added together.
If you have a 45, 45, 90 degree triangle, (an isosceles right triangle) The length of the bases are =, and the hypotenuse is the length of a base x the square-root of 2.
In a 30, 60, 90 degree triangle the longer side is the square-root of 3 x the length of the shorter side. The hypotenuse is 2 x the length of the shorter side.

Depends on what the something is.

for instance, a rectangle
A=width*height
P=2*(width+height)

for a triangle
A=(width*height)/2
P=side+side+side
