If he doesn't feel the same way you cannot do anything about it, so, if you want more you should start looking somewhere else for something more "rewarding" for you...

Having been a f buddy myself i would say if you are hoping for a relationship - dont. You remain f buddies for a reason - its enjoyable and he doesnt want anything more from you. The guy i was with just wanted the sex and i kept praying he would one day realise he loved me as i did him but that day never came and in the end i had to stop seeing him as it was so obviously going no where. 16 years making it easy for him and you are not any nearer a relationship? He wont 'wake up' but maybe you should. Take it from someone who got hurt - get out while you can.

If you start as f buddies you will never progress to husband and wife. Why would you - he has got the good stuff without any of the hassle.
Stop sleeping with him and if you meet someone new dont sleep with him straight away - hold off a bit and he might stay interested in you as a person rather than just an f buddy.

This may sound cruel, but as a farmer would say:
"Why would the boy want to buy the cow when he's getting the milk for free?"
If you are looking for a husband or a long-term mate, move on. And, be prepared for him to promise just about anything to keep the "fb" going on when he sees that you are going to end it in your search for that husband or long-term mate.

Going to give you some advice that i normally never give.
Leave things as they are. Relationships mess things up.
What can you ever hope to get from a perfect relationship? A good friend and some hot passion! You already have those!
