Well, since I’d be "Dumbledore’s man through and through”, I’d do whatever I could as Minister of Magic to ensure we win the war against Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Hell, I would officially announce that Ministry is on the same side with Order! I would also officially declare all-out-war and perhaps hire Harry Potter as Auror although he’s not even on age or finish his study in Hogwarts and Dumbledore would not let me do that….

I’ll listen and do all Dumbledore’s advice like:
1) Declaring that Sirius Black is innocent and cleared of all charge. Peter Pettigrew is the real convict and wanted, Dead or Alive.
2) Neutralize or sack everyone within Ministry who dares to oppose Dumbledore and Order of Phoenix. It’s truly dangerous time and we need a strong, iron-handed leader within Ministry here! Delores Umbridge would be first in my list to be “annihilated”!

3) Ensure that Harry Potter trusts the Ministry 100% and cooperates well with us. Since we face the same enemy and we’re both “Dumbledore’s man through and through”, Harry would have no doubt to do me favor at such difficult time. I would do whatever I could to assist him in searching of Horcruxes and final battle against the Dark Lord. Combined that with all my brilliant tactic and strategy, we’ll surely win the war in such a short time!

I have my own personal agenda of course. As Dumbledore said to Fudge, “…I tell you now- take the steps I have suggested, and you will be remembered, in office or out, as one of the bravest and greatest Ministers of Magic we have ever known….” Is that clear enough? Lol!!

Anyway, how about you then? What would you do as Minister of Magic and why do you do that? Do you also have your own personal agenda?

If I were Minister of Magic, I would make the winning the war with Voldemort my top priority. I would take steps to reassure the Wizarding World by offering free Defense Against the Dark Arts training, which would include how to produce a Patronus. I don't think that it would be prudent to declare an open alligence with the Order of the Phoenix, for the safety of their members from those that oppose them. Instead, I would secretly meet with them and do everything in my power to support their efforts. I would order all Aurors to do a status check on all known Death Eaters; Voldemort's loyalists would be killed, since Azkaban can't hold them, although any willing renounce their allegience to him and were able to provide useful information could negotiate for their freedom. Harry and the DA are mostly underage and don't have Auror training, so I wouldn't make them Aurors. Instead, I would create a special task force out of their members and bestow upon them the authority to use curses and hexes necessary to help maintain order within the Wizarding world to free up Aurors to focus on Death Eaters only.

I would admit that in the past, the Ministry has made mistakes, including labeling Sirius Black a servant of Voldemort and for imprisoning him for the murders Peter Pettigrew committed. It doesn't matter that Sirius is dead, the public should know that he was innocent. He should be vindicated, if only for the peace of mind of those who knew him. I would vilify Peter Pettigrew for his cowardly actions and put a bounty on his head. I would make his animagus ability public knowledge and offer a reward to anyone who could provide information that led to his capture or death. I would also announce that Hagrid was innocent of opening the Chamber of Secrets and was framed by Voldemort. His name should be cleared. People would want to know they could put their trust in me and that I would be acting in their best interest. Being honest about my stances on important issues should help them believe my sincerity.

Dorlores Umbridge is a dangerous person and would be stripped of her position on the Wizengamot. She would also be prosecuted for her unscrupulous behavior; in ordering the Dementor attack on Harry Potter, for violation of the International Statute of Secrecy by ordering them into a Muggle neighborhood, as well as for her attempt to have him prosecuted for violation of the Statute of Secrecy and the reasonable restriction of underage wizardry. I would have her sentenced to Azkaban, and make an example of her to others like her that that sort of devious behavior would not be tolerated. To counteract the serious threat of Fenrir Greyback, I would also put a bounty on his head and offer a reward to anyone who could assist Aurors to finding him. Orders would be given to kill him on sight.

I would use house-elves to provide information that could assist in the effort to defeat Voldemort. They would be questioned about knowledge of horcruxes, Death Eaters, and Voldemort. I would encourage the public to treat them with respect. I would also recruit house-elves to act as spies for the Ministry. They have a unique ability to circumvent security on places that even wizards can't apparate or disapparate from. They could be a real asset, since they are underestimated generally and have their own powerful brand of magic. I'd also reach out to the goblins and werewolves, and try to convince them to join our side in the war. Finally, I would create a task force of wizards whose purpose would be to assist Harry in discovering the location of the remaining horcruxes. I would require them to make an Unbreakable Vow, so that they would have to destroy any horcrux they found.

In the sixth book first chapter, the old minister of magic was replaced by a new fiercer looking Minister named Rufus Scrimguer. Later in the book he tries to manipulate Harry into making public appearances for him, as means for his magical war propaganda. It might be that Rufus is being controlled/manipulated by Voldemort? I digress, if Voldemort never went Borgin & Burkes then it would be safe to assume that if he was in the ministry, he would have known the secret to destroying Harry Potter much earlier, and he would have found another way to kill him without losing his power. Albus Dumbledore would have surely fought with Voldemort for a long time but all in vain. Dumbledore would have most likely never learned about the Horcruxes, unless on a off chance from Slughorn, and even then both would have been snuffed out before any real damage could be done. IN conclusion there wouldn't be a Harry Potter series for sake of name, he would be dead. If there had been a series, it probably would be the magical equivalent of 1984.

Agenda:
1. Fire Dolores Umbridge and demote Percy Weasley and his ego.

3. Test employees' wands if they have used illegal curses...

4. Won't interfere in Hogwarts' business except when help is BADLY needed.]

5. Promote Arthur Weasley as Head of a major Department, he can do much more than his crappy job at the moment.

6. Cooperate with the Order of the Phoenix

7. Make sure that everybody will get a just and fair trial.

8. Annihilate all Deatheaters.

9. Investigate issues seriously and honestly

10. Employ as much Aurors as possible, even Harry and the DA...

I'm a man of Dumbledore, I would try to have him as The minister, but he will not go away from HIS school, I would not have Harry Potter be in the part of this job, his life is at rick the way it is, and it will Always be. Dumbledore has only been wrong two times, so I trust him with all my life. He may be older and funny with things, but can you blame him?

i think you'd be a good Minister of Magic then, unlike Fudge. what i would do is...

1. listen to Dumbledore
2. fire Percy because, 1st, he's too stupid to recognize his boss is being bewitched in book 5. and, simply because he's irritating.
3. post out a new list of Death Eaters, including Peter Pettigrew in the list. not sure if Snape should be in it though...
4. have something/someone else guard Azkaban since you really can't trust those dementors.
5. i would also support Harry in becoming an Auror.
6. give my full support to the Order of the Phoenix and try to recruit more people to built a bigger army in defeating You-Know-Who
7. it would also be good to help Harry with his quests, so he could go back to Hogwarts.
8. it would be good to promote Arthur Weasley since he's a good man

First I'd keep a lot of Felix Fecilis (sorry....wrong spelling) handy.I think the advice Dumbledore's been giving you is outta-date....coz Sirius is already dead...*sniff*
and by the way, Potter's Dumbledore's man through and through...
I'd keep the innocent and vulnerable safe...like Draco Malfoy...
And I'd make the Dumbledore's Army a World-power against the dark forces

My aganda:
Among the terrifying images in books two and three were: a disembodied voice repeatedly
hissing "kill"; monstrous, flesh-eating spiders; children being attacked
and paralyzed; and an apparently dead cat hung upside down by its tail (USA Today,
June 15, 2000).

In book four of the series (Goblet of Fire) the evil character named "Wormtail"
cuts up Harry’s arm to extract blood in order to bring "Voldemort" (the
most evil character) back to life. (This is an occult practice done to supposedly
pass mystic power from one person to another during some occult rituals.) Rowling
called Voldemort a "raging psychopath, devoid of the normal human responses
to other people’s suffering . . ." (Entertainment Weekly, #554, August 11,
2000). Also in the latest epic, Harry’s parents, who have been killed, have to
be extracted from Voldemort’s magic wand. What kind of books are these and what
inspires Row ling’s work? We believe we know. She said, "It’s important
to remember that we all have magic inside us . . ." during an interview being
taped for an "Scholastic Book Fair" video. And when asked in an August
2000 Entertainment Weekly interview by writer Jeff Jensen if she felt any sense
of social responsibility (for the dark nature of the content of Harry Potter) Rowling
answered, "I cannot write to please other people.
