In selecting a topic for debate,you need to select a topic that is of public interest.Debating becomes exciting if all participants have good knowledge of the topic or understand the topic very well and will be able to support any stand the take on that topic.
An example is: "science have done more good than harm," this is a good broad debate topic but could be boring and awful if your opponent have no knowledge of the cons and pros of science.
A good debate should be understandable to the ordinary man.
Credible quotations to back positions
Refute quotations made by your opponent.
There are lots of topics you can get for the debate.

Include a debate topic you are interested in and people are more likely to assist.

u can prepare a debate on computer their achievements their drawbacks or u can prepare on deforestation , countrys development , uneducation,unemployment,or countrys economy etc but it i would like to pray to god top give u more ideas well bye ! have a nice day !
