Make sure you call and check to see how she's doing. That way she really knows that you care. Ask her if she needs any help. When she calls and you're not busy pick up the phone. Some moms get overly stressed which causes depression and she may need as much support from you as possible. Being a single mom is difficult in the beginning, but I've been doing it for 6 months now and I've survived! I enjoy my child and try not to let her get to the point where she feels like it's a punishment. It's a blessing. All together I think you will do well with her. You're good friend just for seeking some advice on how to help.

Being there for her in general will help. I'm sure she's lonely. It's kinda hard to be there everyday, especially when both of you have newborns, but when my son was born just getting a phone call from my best friend would brighten up my day. My son's father left when I was about 2 months pregnant and trust me...being her best friend is one of the best things you can do. When the babies are a little older and if you want, babysitting so she can go get her nails done or go shopping alone will show that you love her to death.

I think that your friend just needs you there for mental support right now. Maybe you could offer to watch the baby for a few hours while she naps when she gets home. It will give her a break and give you a chance to practice before your big event. Once your children are both a little older you can take turns watching them on a Friday night (she has both one night, you have both the next), this gives you each a break twice a month.

You can be there to support her. Just by having someone she can talk to, share her frustrations and excitements with, that will help. Raising a baby on your own isn't easy, but it can be done, and is less stressful if you have a good support system. Good Luck to both of you and Congratulations!

Just go be with her. Help her by doing the dishes or the laundry or holding the baby while she showers. And take her food, new moms never have time to make themselves food. Things that can be eaten with one hand are best.

If you and your friend aren't married then you need to give your children up for adoption. Its hard, but the child will have a much better life with two parents.

cash, or baby products, sounds like she wasn't too careful in whom she picked to father her child. best laid plans and all.
has your b/f left you yet? your friend can still get child support if her b/f has enough character to work. tell her to go to his parents and ask for support. after all it is their grandchild. assuming money is an issue here. she may be rich , so in what way do you want to help her, friend support.

She can make the guy pay child support. Tell her to get a lawyer.
