from Iraq ?

There is no acceptable number when we are at war with the enemy.
Why pull out of Iraq. The number of Americans that die in Iraq is a very small number. Less than 1000 per year.
On 9/11, over 3000 were murdered in one day.
Consider the fact that it is actually a safer place for them in Iraq than the United States (US).
Collectively , each year, approximately 20 million people are either murdered, raped, killed by drunken drivers, mugged, etc in the US.
So where do you think it is safer to be?

How many will die in Iraq if the US leaves the fledgling government to fend for itself?
If we run away, Iraq will fall. If Iraq falls, the Middle East will experience instability and volatility never seen before. Iran will have no buffer between it and Israel. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stated several times that he wants to push Israel into the sea.
With his threats, do we simply pull out and hope he doesn't do anything? Europe did that in the 30's with Hitler and ended up in the middle of a second world war.
Theres no easy answer in the Middle East, but running away from a problem does not make it go away.

How many people all over the world will die if we the "developed" countries always run when the going gets tough?
Where would mankind be if we had such weak stomachs in ww2?ww1?

stop the hypocrisy, Americans will keep on dying as long as the the US and the UK haven't yet confirmed there supplies in petrol for at least the next 30 years
