You can't make a painting at your house. That's for show. You can however, make a painting. What you do, is under your character and your character's stats, there are 5 things that are clickable. They are:

Take The Tour
Visit The Dojo
Dig For Treasure
Paint A Picture
Grab A Prize

You want to click on Paint A Picture. There are 10 paintings for you, and even more sprinkled around Millsberry. The ones sprinkled around Millsberry are the ones that are hidden. You have to find them in order to unlock them and be able to paint them. If you haven't already found them, here are their hidden locations:

One painting is located in Westridge. Go to Westridge, then click on the crater.

Another is located in Lakeview. Click on the lake. (May not unlock since the lake is frozen.)

A third is located in Ravenwood. Click on Red Lion Manor. Then wait about 45 seconds. A falling leaf appears. Click on it.

Another one is at the Colhurst Tunnels when you go digging. If you dig up the Colhurst Portrait, you can unlock a canvas! But it's pretty random, so don't get your hopes up.

Four are located Downtown. One is at Sylvane Lake. You can unlock Sylvie, but you have to have 100% intelligence, and Sylvie has to be giving out Sylvie Plushies. Two more are located at Millsberry Academy. One of them is at the Science Lab. Click on the two beakers. Another one is located at the Cafeteria. Click on the boy in the back that doesn't have his face toward you. And the last one located in Downtown is at the Community Center. Click on the sunflowers that are up front. (May not unlock since sunflowers are covered in snow.)

And lastly, the last one is located in your basement. Go to Your Stuff, then click on Basement. The teddy bear that is laying on the ground, click on it! That is it!

****Make sure you have at least 60% intelligence for all of these!****

There are 9 paintings in all, but there could be more in the near future.

Sorry, but you cannot use the art tools to paint a picture at your house. They are meant to serve as decorative items for your home.

If you want to paint a picture for the "Art Class" you need to do the following:

1. Click the Paint A Picture link on the left hand navigation bar. If you can't find it, here is the link:
http://www.millsberry.com/museum/paint/...
2. Once you've 'started' your classes you can unlock the hidden 'extra' canvases
3. Go to the art class, and click on "load New Picture". Start painting, or you can unlock more paintings...
The canvases can be found in the following locations (the sunflowers and the Lakeshore canvases cannot be unlocked, due to the snow/ice but, they should be available again in the spring)
There are 9 hidden pictures on Millsberry. You need 100% intelligence to unlock some of them so it's best to make sure your intelligence is at 100% before you go searching for the canvases. If you have that this is where they can be located:

1. Lakeview's Shoreline
Go to "The City" as I said again, and then, you click on Lakeview, and then click on the Lakeshore. You should unlock a canvas.

2. The Westridge Crater.
Again, click on "The City", then on Westridge. Click on the overhead shot of the crater, and click the crater itself.

3. Red Lion Manor
Click on "The City", then click on Ravenwood and click on Red Lion manner. Wait about 1 minute, and you will see a leaf falling across the screen. Click on the leaf, and that will unlock a canvas for you.

4.Sunflowers
In front of the Community Center there should be a bunch of sunflowers close to the left hand side of the sidewalk. Click on them, and you will unlock a canvas.

5.Kid in The Cafiteria
In the cafeteria, there is a kid by the windows. His back will be facing you. Click him, and you will unlock a canvas.

6. Chemist Canvas
In the Chemistry Lab, there should be two beakers. Click on the right of the two beakers on the table.

7. Teddy Canvas
Click on "My Stuff", then on Basement. In the picture of the basement that is displayed on your moniter, click on the teddy bear.

8.Sylvie's Canvas
Sylvie has a canvas, too. This one can only be received when she is giving out Sylvie Plushies as the day's prize, and 100% intelligence is required. Visit Sylvane Lake while Sylvie is out, and click on her and you will not only get the plushie, but the canvas, too!

9. Colhurst Canvas
There is a canvas hidden in the colehurst tunnels that can be dug up. I have not gotten this one, because I don't want my health to drop, since my health is 100%. I've heard that this is rather random in who gets this canvas. It's received when you dig up the colehurst portrait but I know people who have gone digging a lot of times, and have NOT gotten it.

4. After you've unlocked the canvases, you can 'paint' using the painting function you find at the art class. Every other week, you can submit pictures to be judged in the gallery, and if your picture is selected, and is voted as a winner, you will get a special art trophy for your home.

Good Luck!
