On board Intel 945g or my PCI adapter By Nvidia(FX5200). I will be able to free up a slot in my Gateway GT5408 PC. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium if that makes a difference. Which should I use? Any answers will be very helpful.

Is the Intel on-board graphics better or as good as the Nvidia FX5200? I don't play games at all. Have a 19"LCD HD monitor and need a 1440x900 Res. Does the on-board support that? Just wanting to know if I should eliminate the Nvidia so I can free up a PCI adapter space in my PC. Any answers are appreciated!

One is onboard graphics, the other is a PCI graphic card.
Both are next to useless.

Michael, disable the onboard graphics and ust the FX5500

Are you talking about the video graphics? Because i dont recongize either model numbers. Nvidia is a great video graphics brand in my opinion as long as you keep the tower clean itll give you years and years operation.
