Just wondering what u thought! What i thought?First i would sign Jeff Garcia to a 1 or 2 year deal.Trade the 1 pick to the Lions for their 1 round pick and second round.Trade Randy Moss and LaMont Jorado to GB for Donald Driver and some picks.Draft Adrian Peterson. In the second round(1'st pick) get a guy like Drew Stanton or a guy who is mobile. With the other 2 round pick(3'rd) get a guy like Ben Grubbs or Sidney Rice.Draft OL in later rounds.Get Mike Gandy out from the free agents and sign him.I don't believe Anthony Adams is signed and he would fit well. That what I think they should do, what do u think that they should do?????

First, i'd sign Corey Dillion from free agentcy. Then, i'd trade moss to a team, and get a good secondary player. I would draft calvin johnson in the first round, and Troy Smith in the second if he falls that far. I really think Troy Smith has great potential. I'd also hire Marty Schotehimer (however you spell it) as head coach. He made the chargers a great team, and the raiders need a coach they can stick with. Theres a few QB's i would consider signing, which is Drew Bledsoe, and Joey Harrington, but they would fight for the position with Troy Smith. Im not sure whats going on with Eric Moulds, but if he hasn't been signed yet, the Raiders should sing him too. This is my changes for the offence, but what about the defence? First, I'd sign defensive end Jared allen. Then i'd sign saftey Tony Parish or Tank Williams, depending on who wants less money. Lastley I'd sign Lavar Arrington and Keith Adams. This would improve the Raiders greatly, but I still wouldn't see them as a winning team.

Simple Answer: Beef up the OL

As a Raiders fan our #1 concern is our OL.

I would also trade our #1 overall pick to Lions but I would draft Joe Thomas instead of Peterson - we just signed Rhodes and Griffith and with Jordan our running game should do good with a decent OL. Thomas is a physical freak 6'6 311 and runs a 4.8!!!!

I am really not too concerned with the QB position. Walters can do a good job he just needs a good OL. You cant judge his bad year because he was running for his life trying not to get sacked every play.

Proof:
I look to the Jets. Last year they drafted two great rookie offensive lineman and went from the 3rd worst record to the playoffs. everyone said Pennington sucked but he did great with the new OL. And just like the Jets we have a new coach who is young and creative.

I think the new coach is committed to the running having our pick free agent signings. I would keep Moss and Porter unless a GREAT deal came along. I agree with Al Davis we gave up too much to get Moss to give him away.

A good OL will establish our run. That will open up our passing game and the play action for those deep moss routes. Also PLEASE GET JORDAN INVOLVED IN THE PASSING GAME. Art Shell was old school and didn't do it but look at his stats too years ago he has soft hands.

Our D is already nasty (ranked 3rd last year) and Huff will only get better and so will the rest of our young team.

I don't expect us to have as big of a turn around this year because they wont draft Joe Thomas and waste their money on Russell who will be a bust and turn into a Joey Harrington with a horrible OL.

Also Garcia is already signed by the Bucs I don't think Chucky would give him up unless he got a great deal = not worth it. Draft a later round QB like Troy Smith or Chris Leak maybe.

First off,Jeff Garcia is in Tampa now....The Lions are actually trying to build a team. Why would they give up two picks for one when there is plenty off talent at #2 and so on.....There is no way on GOD's Green Bay Earth Lamont and Donald would be traded for Randy Moss. The best case would be QB Rodgers going to Raiders for Moss.I would stick with the draft pick in Russell (QB from LSU),pick up Corey Dillon for the run game(he's still out there),and yes, keep Randy Moss(13 yds per catch when the ball is thrown to him). There are plenty of 4.4 yd guys in this draft.Hell, Ohio States got 4 or 5
of them...I know Moss needs help. They have a better coach now and maybe that will ease the issue. The Defense was good but there are some good DE/DB in this draft thatt could help this team in any defensive scheme(tampa 2,3-4,or a 4-3)
Anderson out of Texas comes to mind and Widdle from some team up north.Oh,are you going to call Bledsoe now that he's not employed with the Cowboys? He would be a good mentor for JaMarcus.....(i.e. Tom Brady,Tony Romo)

Good Luck in the draft.......

I'm not a Raiders fan but they are crazy if they draft JaMarcus Russell. He is not that good...at best he'll be the next Daunte Culpepper. At best. He's fat and slow and not that accurate. He just happens to be able to throw the ball 70 yards. You know, they said that about another highly touted draft prospect a few years ago. Remember Ryan Leaf? Hard to believe Manning versus Leaf was once a legitimate debate.

They missed Leinart inexplicably last year and they don't have a single worthwhile QB on the roster, but drafting one first overall and not protecting him with a decent o-line is a recipe for disaster...just ask David Carr, who isn't that bad but gets pummeled year after year.

Trade down, pick up Joe Thomas, rebuild the o-line with promising rookies, pick up one more d-lineman or something that will strengthen an already promising defense, worry about a QB later. Roll with Andrew Walter for a year and then reassess.

what i would do is first of all trade moss he dont wanna be there so get him out of there he is hurting the locker room next i would try and get no worst then a 2nd round pick for him if that works with the first pick i take jamarcus russell he is by far the number one pic and with my second round pic i take either robert meacheam or ted ginn jr u and if i could i would play with lamont jordan and dominick rhodes and in my late rounds maybe get like an anothony gonzales and other draft try and find so offensive linemen to stack up the line maybe ill find a diamond in the ruff it would take a lot to turn of chockland but thats where i would start

I would get in a fight with Lane Kiffin in about three years only if he completely revamps our offense and makes them unstoppable. Then I would trade him to a NFC team that is on the verge of a superbowl for some draft picks. I would hire Lanes offensive coordinator as head coach so the play book doesnt change at all. That way when we play Kiffins team in the superbowl he can pass the playbook over to his defensive coordinator. Just like Gruden did. ****ing Davis is a moron. The deep passing game has been dead for 20 years!!!! Defense wins Championships!!! Get an offensive line and run the damn ball!!!

I thought that in 2006, if Oakland got Matt Lienart than they would target all the USC players since the team is in Cali...I guess not...here is my darft

1. JaMarcus Russell (It would be good if he could drop his weight to 250-Lbs.) Joe Thomas is tempting but we need a QB

2. Ryan Kalil (We have a center but getting a USC guy would help us, had a good season w/USC and was consistent)

3. Drew Stanton

4. Sidney Rice

5,6,7 Don't care, get special teamers

RELEASE ALL PLAYERS WHO SUCK SUCH AS DRAFT BUST KYLE BRAYTON! I would release marquss Tuippasso cause he sucksand all the other palyers who can't contribute. Trade porter and moss...

as raiders fan..

1, jeff garcia is in tampa

2, doesnt matter who our QB is we can get anybody to do the job (if we sign CALVIN JOHNSON) not J.Russell i hate how ppl say russell will b the #1 pick i mean hey watch ESPN and hear them say j. russell so they go around screaming on how he is soo good. I'll tell you now it'd be nice to have him as QB, but Calvin johnson is a once in a Lifetime WR*

3 Fix that horrendous OL, sign ol the next couple of rounds

* look at tony romo ppl thaught he was garbage, then he comes out and plays his heart out, even if he occasionally got lucky. a qb is a qb, doesnt matter as long as we dont get another bust like Aaron brooks or Andrew walter.

just sign a decent QB al davis!!!!!

You know, Al Davis was a player, coach, GM, and Now an owner. He controls what is going on in "CHOKELAND" They will never be a DIENASTY. Eveything you suggested makes them the same old offense a better defense and a 6-10 record.
Why? Because The SUper Chargers are winning 5 straight Superbowls, and then Jesus is coing back to save us all.

driver would never got to the raiders.
my idea:
1. trade moss, courtney anderson, and a pick for Aaron Rodgers and a pick.
2. draft calvin johnson
3. take an o-line in the next rounds
