There is a math teacher at collage and he is an old geek and has to watch the screen from just a few inches.He is a very nice geeky person who helps with all the complicated math problems but rumor has it that his short sight (like 5 inches max) is from the computer screen.But then he is like 60 so when he started the screens had a very high radiation and were therefore very bad for eyes.

I spend much of my day in front of the computer, and every month I have to scoot up closer to the monitor. I'm only 15, and at this rate I will probably be legally blind by the time- oh wait, I already am! :) So, if you are spending much of your day in front of the computer, it will decrease your ability to see well.

Not rlly i spend sometimes 24 hours in front of the computer and my vision hasnt gotten bad or worse.

You probably have a good two years yet before you go blind, so you might as well keep enjoying hte computer.

Try to take at least 15 minute breaks away from the screen. If you stay and look at the screen for as long as you say you do you have bigger chances of getting migraines.

You won't go blind, but you probably have "computer eyes". They have drops for that at the drug store.

You could get blood clots forming in your legs from sitting that long of a peroid throughout the day,Blood clots form in your legs and go to your brain...bam your dead!

I don't know if you'll go blind but it will affect your eyes. Cause it did mine. And now I wear glasses.
