I have to go with the bed as a safety precaution. I've never heard of someone sliding out of bed and getting hurt from slipping on the wet spot. I wouldn't want to fall down the stairs because I slipped on the wet spot.How would I explain that to the insurance??

start on the stairs, but move to the bed. or else it might get uncomfortable.
