Speed is the motion of a body in an unspecified direction........or speed=distance/time.

Velocity is the motion of a body in a specified direction........or velocity=displacement/time.

Speed is scalar and velocity is vector......(means the same thing)

speed has only magnitude but velocity has both direction and magnitude.
