Does the Opera web browser work with Pocket Windows? Is it easy to install? Does it work about the same as on a big computer screen? How does it compare with the web browser Pocket Windows usually comes with?

Opera has a version specifically for Pocket PCs. It optimizes web pages for ppcs better than the windows version, there's a 30 day free evaluation, but its not free.

The current Opera browser version for Pocket PC is 8.60

However, there is already a newer 8.65 (available already on T-Mobile Ameo, at no extra fee ) - not yet via Opera web site.
If not included with the device, it's not for free.

If your device screen is large enough, you will draw lots of benefits from it. It can show up as desktop IE6 for the server, brings a lot more details on the screen, supports tab browsing, does not have any more problems when downloading cab files to the device, etc etc
Just can recommend it.

Opera used to be better cause you could have tabs, but since explorer was updated it doesnt really make a difference whether u use it or not. But....it does work together.
