Big organisations have different buyers for different lines. Contact the head office and ask the telephonist for the names and titles of the buyers relating to your particular lines. They might put you through but better to write a letter to the contact and ask for an appointment. Try the supermarkets as well as they are now taking on all kinds of products.

This may sound strange, but call them. Ask them for their purchasing agents extension. You'd be surprised, you could get right through.

That agent may not be exactly who you need to talk to, but you could ask them if you were at the right place.

Keep in mind, usually bigger businesses like to deal with established supply lines.

It may seem strange, but Wal Mart has been know to actually help start-ups.

Good Luck.

"oh god, I have forgotten their name, my boss needs to speak to the senior toys buyer, can you put me through, oh and remind e, his name is?"
