I was always taught that if you are mixing straight spirits (vodka and triple sec, or vodka and rum ect...) that you stir. When you mix spirits and fruit juices then you are suppose to shake, and shake hard because it brings out the natural sugars in both the juice and the spirit. Cosmos are shaken but Martinis are really suppose to be stirred to keep the true flavor of the spirts intact. Hope this helps!

Depends....a milk "shake" is stirred, not shaken. To make chocolate milk, you stir it, not shake it. Coffee and tea are stirred, so...yea...stirred.

it depends, if its cola, definitly not shaken, if its hot coco then i want it stirred. if its a drink then definitly stirred, but if beer, SHAKEN!
