I know that SeaWorld recently added attractions but does anyone know if they have an attraction where you can swim with dolphins? If not, do you know anywhere in Florida that you can swim with dolphins?

Hi, the place to swim with dolphins is discovery cove, it is quite expensive but worth it. We did it a couple of years ago for my husbands 40th and at the time my kids were just 6 and 9 and i can quite honestly say that even though they were both young neither one has forgotten it... As someone else said you also get free entry for 7 days at either seaworld in Orlando or Bush Gardens in Tampa.
Another good one to do is "Dine with Shamu" it is very inexpensive and is a real experience you are so close to Shamu that you can touch her.. Have a look on www.seaworld.com and go into Orlando..
Hope you have a fantastic time...

First off, Sea World and Discovery Cove are seperate theme parks, sister parks owned by the same company--but ticketed seperately and located across the street from each other.

Discovery Cove is the 'swim with the dolphins' park. You can get more information on the park at: http://www.discoverycove.com/

In general, you can expect to pay around $260 for entrance to the park (including the dolphin swim) or around $160 for entrance without the dolphin swim at Discovery Cove. There is more to do there than just the dolphin experience, however. It's an entire park geared towards one-on-one guest-animal interactions, including wading with stingrays (de-barbed), swimming with tropical fish, and a free flight aviary. They limit the number of visitors to around 1000 per day and reservations are required. With each admission to Discovery Cove, you also get seven consecutive days of admission to either Sea World or Busch Gardens (in Tampa).

At the actual Sea World Orlando park, they do have a 'Beluga Interaction Program,' which is similar to the dolphin swim experience at Discovery Cove. However, in this program you will be in the water with their Beluga whales (white whales from arctic waters--warning, the water will be extra cold (55 degrees) on this experience!) However, I do not think there is any 'deep water' interaction in the Beluga program. I believe it is primarily a wading experience (but please call to find out those details). You can expect to pay around $180 for the Beluga Interaction Program, not including admission to the park (which runs about $65 for an adult).

On the balance of it, your best buy would probably be to make a reservation at Discovery Cove and take advantage of the seven-days of Sea World admission. =)

yes they do have a swim with the dolphins but that cost extra besides your ticket. You can go to their website and check it and it will say how much the extra cost is . good luck .
