Or does it seem like none of the candidates, Democratic or Republican are worth voting for at this moment? What are your thoughts? Personally, I don't even care about right or left, I just want someone with some values, who doesn't start rises above the "mud slinging."

I hope your attitude is contagious. By the time any pol gets to a serious national level he has been corrupted by definition. I see all of these people here on Answers that want to label everyone else but never seem to give a thought to whats RIGHT!! There are absolutes...Hate is wrong, hurting others is ALWAYS wrong! And I dont mean fighting a war. I would be in Iraq right now if the Corps would have me back at my age. Maybe people with values can take back our country but I'm not holding my breath.

I agree. It just doesn't seem right that a country that is so vocal about a variety of issues, never tackles this issue. As it stands right now, if there was a choice on the ballot for "no one" I would use it. Maybe a choice of "Best at Hurling insults" would get a lot of action on the ballot! I just want a candidate to say it like it is, deal with it, and move on. I really don't care about who is sleeping with whom, etc.

No it is not just you.I too am dissapointed with the choices we currently have.I am a republican tried and true but other than Rudy Giuliani(who I am not that crazy about) there are no good choices. As far as democrats go,I would probably consider voting for Joe Liebermann.I do not just vote for my party and I would welcome even a democrat with some fresh ideas. No more Clintons OR Bushes!!!!!

Most politicians are corrupt they don't care about the people they only care about themselves. They want to be president for the power. The ones that are honest end up becoming corrupt from lobbyist because they can't afford to win the election with out money from the lobbyist.
That is my opinion.

how is it different from any other year?..Personally this time around I have a lot of hope for Rudy. I'm actually excited about him running and I pray to god that he wins. He is my perfect politician-- a fiscal conservative, tough on crime, and a republican who is willing to tell the religious right to go scr*w themselves. Perfect.

Truthfully, I think every last one of them are jokes. I'm so tired of promises that arnt kept and saying things to make them LOOK good. I would like to run for office and ADMIT I don't know what I'm doing and NEED the American people's voice to show what they need and want. Then DO IT!!

My vote will be for the candidate that is anti-amnesty. No other issue is as important to this country.

I would pick one of the Democratic candidates, Barak Obama has some good thoughts on the war in Iraq and so does Hilary Clinton.
