Have a plan...at least an idea of what you want to do...what to major in, what you like. Go to class (the other answer is right on the money...showing up is a big part!). Get involved....if you "think" you want to major in a specific area, volunteer or join a club/organization involved in that area.

Going to class and paying attention is about 80%. I know it sounds simple, but thats how i did it
