i was out and they stoped you can move them by hand and the belts work but the augers wont spin help

the augars dont spin the pins are not broken the belts move but when i engage the auger drive the augars don't spin but the wheel that shoots out the snow does

If they won't move you probably have have something lodge in them or if you belts aren't slipping on the pulley you have broke the connection from gear box

SHEAR PINS, they did what there supposed to do they sheared off so it didn't ruin your machine. If you look on the rod that holds the auger you'll find a hole this is where you put it. Go to your local lawn mower repair shop and they'll have them, about $2 a pc. Good luck Les the painter. You must have picked up a rock or branch to cause this, no big deal

From the way you explain it you have probably sheared off a pin. You will need to go to where you bought it or a dealer for that model and get the size pin you need. If it is something meant to shear you will need the exact replacement so you don't damage something the next time it happens.
