Well, seeing as you placed all of these titles here, they are Horror games (of course, except for Smallville). I don't have anything against these titles, but I don't like Horror movies/vid games. Now, I do know for a fact that that Jason & Freddy games were out for NES & maybe Sega by the same time the movies were coming out. Even though I don't watch much Horror movies, I did like Freddy vs Jason. In an order from the best to worst would be:
Smallville (since I like Superman)
Freddy vs. Jason (where you pick either one to play with)
Saw Trilogy (since the movies were recently made, but you play as a "made-up" cop)
Nightmare on Elm St. (already out, movie & game sucked)
Friday the 13th (must I repeat myself?)
The Shining (never seen it, so it might as a game)
Halloween (ditto)
Well, this would be my order & I put them from the coolest to the lamest. The first 3 I might invest my $ on if they were to come out, but the rest, NO WAY!! Although I didn't mention it on the list & you haven't thought bout it (shame, shame), I would like to play the game similar to Stayin Alive (but without the "Game Over" happening in real life). If you haven't seen this movie, check it out, cuz that a real good concept of a video game integrated into a Horror flick. Ok, that's enough from me, so see ya!

I would play the Saw video game first. It would be cool if you could make objectives for the victims and watch them attempt to do it.
I would also like to play Nightmare on Elms St. because you can mess with people in their dreams. But the AI has to be good.

it would be cool to try new ones but the storyline has got to catch your crowd for example freedy vs jason. jason has been ressurected on elm street and is wrecking thing in houses then freedy has to put his to sleep to kill & get him to stop. besides nintendo 1987 did a elm street game that was pretty cool but sega and ps2 and stuff made people forget about that stuff quick

They are all just rip offs of a movie. Everyone knows that movie-to-game games just don't go well, because you know the plot too well. Or you've already seen it.
You could try taking elements of the games (or the movies) and incorporate them to work with your own original idea.

Movie-based video games are too predictable, are frequently victims of zero creativity, and are severely lacking in replay value. Count me as a "No" for all of the above.
