I did not know that virginia beach was part of west virginia these days but since all three previous answers say virginia beach.....anyways....west virginia is a big tourist attraction in itself. The entire state is mountainous and is very pretty. As far as specific attractions, a little internet search may be required for that but you cant go wrong with the state itself. I am from chicago and going there in two weeks to just cruise around the appalachians and the outerbanks. I go there a few times a year (southeast) when i have a week to kill. Always nice, always fun, always a good time.

I think that Busch Gardens is on one of the nicest theme parks in Virginia. Also Virginia Beach is beautiful, I suggest staying at the Hilton there. It is beautiful.
