I got them done Wednesday, it's now Sunday. I've been taking care of them properly (like the lady at Claires told me to), but they're still pretty sore and they're poofy. I'm putting ice on them to help the pain/possible swelling, and I'm cleaning them 3 times a day. But they hurt and they look like they're swelling a little. Is this normal even though the info said it wasn't normal for pain/redness/swelling? I don't have a family doc right now, and I just want my ears to be fine! What to do? I really don't wanna take out my earrings b/c then I'd have to let them heal back together and get them done AGAIN..

I dont remember it hurting that much, so try to keep cleaning them. Remeber not to go in like ocean water, or pool water - any water that has coline - could realy hurt your new pierced ears. Keep cleaning them and if they still hurt in a week or so try to find a doctor, or go to claires and maybe the people who pierced your ears could help. Hope that helps! Good Luck!

Claires should have given you a solution to put on year ears daily, I had my ears done there too and this stuff was ina purple bottle. Make sure you useit everyday. The redness is normal its because your ears are getting used to the earrings so dont worry about it.

it extremely is in basic terms a piercing, can no longer you wait till your sixteen? you are able to harm you mothers and dads emotions in case you circulate in the back of their backs. No i does not harm. there is extra of a great gamble of your ears getting contaminated in case you get it pierced with a gun, it extremely is optimal to get it achieved with a needle (frightening i comprehend) even in spite of the shown fact that it extremely does not harm, for a split 2d it hurts a tiny bit yet then the ear is going numb. Gok Wan has stretched ear lobes, so except your making plans to stretch your ears, i might choose for the stud. stable good fortune on despite you choose.

yes it is normal..it usually takes about two weeks to stop swelling. but if it is hurting you that bad.. go see an urgent care *walk in* and ask them to look at them for you. keep using the liquid claire's gave you and make sure to wash your ears with soap! *good luck!!!!!*

They do swell a bit when they get done, but if it gets worse get rid of them and if you get them done again don't go to claires they are the worst place to go unless you want an infection.

Don't worry, just keep cleaning them with the kit they gave you at Claires. I have 5 piercings in all (just ears), mine did the same and they healed well.

It may be that you're allergic to the type of metal they used, which unfortunately means that it would be best for you to remove them. If not, then you'll just have to wait it out and make sure you're not irritating them in anyway i.e. picking at them or scratching them. Just wait it out and if its been over a month and nothings changed definitely consider removing them.

it seems like you have your ear hole infected. mine was too. its gonna hurt a lot. but you'll get over it. just make sure you clean your ears 3 times a day like you say your doing. and you can also clean it with alchol. turn your ear rings. they wont get any better if you do not turn your ear rings. just keep turning. even thought it hurts its helping it. because its getting that gross stuff out

you might have an allergic reaction to the metal, especially if it has nikelcadium in it... i suggest calling up claires and asking them, also see if you can get new ( silver ) earrings and i know that you arent supposed to but just switch them out so that your ears arent as irritated... but watch out, those starter earings ar really hard to get off!! : - 0

i would give them a week to settle down, are the backs of the earrings too tight against the back of the ear? it may help to loosen them a little to let the skin breath?
