The best way is of course to buy a book and read it. If you are impatient (like me) there are good resources on microsoft web sites, such as so-called hands-on-lab. In these labs, you get to experience and be guided what to do and how to learn things. Try it here:

Under the "Visual Studio 2005 Virtual Labs" you see a lot of different types of labs depending on what you are interested in.
A good book I recommend is this one:

what are you attempting to do? Make your man or woman interest server? There are approximately 30 steps plus this is going to take you 3 pages to study up in case you look. bypass seek for it on Ragezone its a sight that has classes for it
