Yes, Johan Santana will get 300 wins sooner or later. Right now he has about 78 wins and he is only 28 years old. I bet he has about 10 years left in his career. This should give him enough time to get that 300th win. Remember some pitchers don’t get their 300th win until they are about in there 40s.

I think so...he is only 28 and is only going to get better and more dominant as he enters his prime. I actually think he could win 30 games in a season in the not too distant future. He will probably pitch into his early 40's. He has 78 wins right now and if he wins 20 for the next ten years he would be at 278, so he should hit the 300 win mark around 39 or 40.
I hear his changeup this year is really good!

With most teams using a 5 man rotation these days the odds are against him reaching 300 wins. Check back in 15 years and if he's still around we'll see what his numbers look like.

Probibly. He is only at 78 now, but he only has 3 full seasons as a starter. He will probibly be around 38-40 when he gets there.

hard to tell with pitchers because everyones body reacts differently to the bulk of innings a pitcher like santana pitches every year

Kind of a dumb answer, but if he stays healthy he has a great chance at it. These days you can never tell when a pitchers arm will just shut down. Just ask Mark Pryor

look at the list of pitchers who have that many wins...if you consider the average number of starts given the bigger staff and rotations...you might think that he has a shot just based on his years played and numbers of wins per year, but as real baseball fans you know that is strictly speculation...few players have a long and great career...based on reality versus math I say no...

doubt it , no way , too many pitch counts , relief specialists , and arm injuries . if he got 20 wins every year for 10 yrs he would be at 278 , ain`t gonna happen
