I think I'm in love with 3 people: My soon to be ex husband, who has hit me more than once, but now swears he's a changed man, an old ex-boyfriend who swears he loves me, but he is also very in love with his ex-girlfriend who he is trying to get back, and a very good friend I've known for 8 years, who I know I've loved since we met, and he is offering me the kind of life I've always dreamed of, but everytime I go to see him, he's always too busy to hang out.

In general, I would say, yes, you can love more than one person. However, in your case you need to be careful. I agree with what has already been said, once an abuser, always an abuser. If it were a situation where all three men were stable presences in your life, I would only suggest staying with all three of them IF AND ONLY IF you talk to each and every one of them about the situation. If all three men understand and are comfortable with it, then there is no problem. But if one or more person(s) is going to feel threatened or jealous, then you have to put aside your own personal feelings and decide if you can choose.

I say yes, you can love more than one person. Choosing between them is not something you do in your head, you do it in your heart. Let me just say, once an abuser always an abuser. You say your ex is still in love with his ex and is trying to get back with her I would say you answered your own question about him. The one you have always loved, talk to him tell him you have tried to take him up on his offer and he doesn't seem to have the time for it. Maybe he will realize then that if he really wants to be with you, he will make the time.

Stop playing with their emotions and pick one. Not to be ugly, but if you think you're confused, how do you think they feel. If u wait too long, u might miss out on a good relationship. Don't go with the one that's hit u, u deserve better than that!!!

go for the friend, he is the only one out of the three that really shows that he doesn't have any baggage on drama going on, if you think he is too busy and actually want a relationship with him then talk to him about it, and if really wants something with you then he wont have a problem finding more time for you.....
