Heaven is the Eternal location of all Believers. Hell is the temporary location where all of those physically dead humans go untill Final Judgment by Jesus Christ. Then those that don't believe, good or not, will be sent to the " Lake of Fire " for all Eternity. Personally, my Faith is more Believable then saying my ancestors were minute slugs. And if Evolution is true, why haven't the Primates evolved in the last generations to be here amongst us paying taxes? God Bless !!

I am in the process of completing my doctoral dissertation on Comparative Analysis of Today's World Religions....and to answer your question, NO! The idea of a "heaven" and a "hell" have been around much longer than our modern day government. It is a common thread within all religions, although the terminology changes the concept does not! Heaven and Hell are concepts and are theories that an individual deals with between himself and his good. Hope this helps.

Seems like religion and government go hand and hand. The truth behind religion is it was to explain to primitive humans how the world works and why things happen. People like Bush and Constantine prevented religion to have absurd laws that would keep the will of people loyal to them, that means using fear. Technians are trying to make a better computers. We have nothing that has god like super intelligant. There is something called smart computers but the manufactures only call them that. I call there product a different name.

The idea of Heaven and Hell came into place LONG BEFORE the invention of todays technology - centuries before to be exact. The time of Christ was 2000 years ago and the idea of a Heaven and Hell came LONG BEFORE the time of Christ. The idea of government, as we know it today, came at the time of the Romans and the idea of Heaven and Hell was LONG BEFORE that time. So, NO, I do not believe that the idea of Heaven and Hell was drummed up by a government.

No, not at all......human's cannot create anything..best they
can do is alter the state of whatever has been created
by the Creator! Heaven or Hell experiences alterations
through the number of human souls either receives or
loses.

No. If that were true, governments wouldn't lie to create an opportunity to invade countries, causing deaths, injuries, turmoil, etc.

Ironic, isn't it, when so-called "Christians" support liars who deliberately cause a civil war in, let's say, Iraq, and that civil war will continue whether we're there or not, now. And you know, whoever finally emerges as the ruler when the civil war is over -- after it has spread to Iran, Pakistan, Syria and Lebanon -- will hate the U.S. more than any current "terrorist."

How Christian is all of that?

No they were created by religion as a way to make the masses feel compelled to obey laws in a time of lawlessness. Look it up.
