something you installed recently of spyware may be causing the error.
Click start >click run >type in msconfig click on the startup tab then uncheck everything there except your anti virus and internet connection . Click ok and your computer will restart . Then see if your computer is giving you the same error.
Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .Also run Secunia Software Inspector from the link below

If you send the error report you will get a feedback detailing what the possible error was and links to repair the problem and damage. Turning off the modem is a bit drastic considering the numerous FREE anti-virus programs available to you.
Click the send error report and find out what exactly the problem is. Ask for any MS updates and also install Windows Defender. Go to CNET.com and in the bottom left of the page you'll find downloads.
Download the following programs: AVG, Antivira AntiVir, Adaware, SpyBot, and CCleaner. The first two are virus protection which update and auto run daily. The last three are Spyware and Malware cleaners which you run manually as often as you wish (try every other day or so).
MS will probably tell you that you are infected. These programs will clean it and keep it safer. Good Luck.

Out of my experience of daily getting this message I can tell you this :
Your PC made a restatr by itself and thats the way Microsoft will tell you they are arround , don't send the message because no one will come to help its just an automatic answer and sometime no answer , they put it to know what happened to upgrade their programs later on and you will get nothing .
Anything wrong happens to your PC ; mostly a restart will end it .
Don't worry , nothing is wrong with your PC , its how Microsoft works .

This can happen for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is a corrupted file in some application you are running. That is what I think is going on. If you can tell which application, uninstall and reinstall it and see if that fixes the problem.
