On average it is about 20 weeks, but it can vary by a few weeks either way. For some people they feel movement and not realize what it is right away. For others they will have rumbles in their tummy and think that it is movement. But the average is 20 weeks.

I felt some light tapping at week 10, which was very early. Then I didn't feel anything until week 16, like most other people do. I did feel those flutters and didn't like those ones - it was the little jabs that were the best! Now I'm at week 38 and the baby woke me up for the first time last night kicking me really hard in the ribs - oh, something you can look forward to!
However, don't freak out if you don't feel anything until week 20 or so. Your placenta's position as well as where the baby is in your uterus could also be preventing you from feeling the kicks. I have lots of friends who didn't feel anything until then. Be reassured the baby is healthy and moving around without your knowledge. Your doctor will check the heartbeat with a fetal monitor at each visit just to be sure everything is doing great - at least mine did.
Good luck!

it depends everyone is different but you will feel movement no later than 24 weeks. However it is usually between 16 and 24. For the first pregnancy it is usually a bit longer than the 16 weeks since a new mom isn't aware of what the movements feel like.
Congrats

About 16 weeks. Although you may feel like you have butterflies in your stomach a few weeks prior to this time. It depends on the woman and the baby but on average you should expect that first kick about that time. Don't freak if you don't feel it right away though, it can take up to 20 weeks and you might be feeling it at 16 but just think it's gas or something.

I am pregnant with my first, and I felt her move around 16 weeks. When you feel the baby depends on how many pregnancies you have had, and how you are built. Smaller women generally feel the baby a little earlier. I think it also depends on how active the baby is - my baby never stops moving, and I think that is why I felt her move so soon. A less active baby may not be felt until later.

" You probably won't feel your baby kick until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks, even though he started moving at 7 or 8 weeks and you may have already witnessed his acrobatics if you've had an ultrasound.
Veteran moms tend to notice those first subtle kicks — also known as "quickening" — earlier than first-time moms. (A woman who's been pregnant before can more easily distinguish her baby's kick from other belly rumblings, such as gas.)
Your build may also have something to do with when you'll be able to tell a left jab from a hunger pang. Thinner women tend to feel movement earlier and more often than women who carry more weight. "
