i heard that emma watson will not be doing future harry potter films 'the half blood prince' and 'deathly hallows' or whatever its called . first off , how do the producers go about finding replacements , if they held auditions , i would definitely go!...my friends say i look just like her now that i have blonde highlights in my hair , and i can do a great impression of her voice ,i take drama at schoola nd usually get A's do you think i could do it? x

Well for now her choice hasn't been confirmed. Over this weekend, many new rumors about her have arised. Some say that she has signed her contracts saying that she is going to continue with the Potter films (The Sun, a european newspaper) while others say she is not returning. The truth is that she hasn't made her decision yet but will sign or reject her contract during hte next few days. I won't keep my hopes up if i were you. She has shown a lot of hope and evidence in interviews and stuff that she might be returning. In one she said that it would kill her if anyone played hermionie but her (GOF).
However, to be eligible to play ANY character in the Harry Potter films is that you have to be british, or is a European citizen. If you are, good luck, but there are thousands of girls probably wanting the role of hermionie granger.
Warner Bros. is very confindent that Emma will be coming back and i agree. However, if she does quit i wish you the best of luck:D

Nothing has been confirmed. But recent news states that the WB is very confident that Emma Watson will return for the final two movies. A Warner Bros. spokesperson said that Watson is set to sign the contract very soon. There is a full report from BBC in the link below.

No offence but it is crap when the original goes i wouldn't try if i were you because you are always going to be compared to Emma Watson who has a huge fan base by now. I'm sure you could do it but it will be very hard.

i have heard some rumors too that emma will be leaving the potter films...but WB seems confident that she will come back and i hope she does tho..but none of us are quite sure yet since theyre currently doing OOTP..but in case she leaves tho..i bet theyll get someone who is british...and its very challenging for whoever tries out cos theyre gonna be compared to the original..but if u wanna try out good luck then..=))
