Sounds like you have a good arrangement. Why are you feeling guilty? Your keeping an eye on the kids is excellent
and as for shopping and cooking......If she ever gets fed up with you there will be a queue ready to take you on, and I`ll be first.....Enjoy and be happy.

You are a lucky man with such an understanding & hard working wife. I am sure although she doesn't seem to mind you enjoying TV, computer, etc. give her a hand here & there every now & then will surely be much appreciated, knowing that you care, you will then also feel less guilty.

I think that you and your wife have an understanding that you do most of the chores during the week and she does her on the weekend. I think that its great you help out. Why not help her on saturday and that way you'll get it done quicker allowing you both to spend some time together. Get the kids to help out too!

Well, do you ever offer to help a little? It doesn't sound like she really minds....us woman know we have things that HAVE to be done, for the most part, there is no such thing as relaxing for us......

well dont feel guilty but make her happy, for example surprise her and take her out on the weekend or hire someone to do the cleaning for a weekend and have her go to the spa or something! show her you care and that you notice her hard work!

you both seem to do your fair share and when my kids were younger i would have preferred some one keeping an eye on them while i got done, so accept it, but it would be nice if you make her a cup of tea and tell her to sit down for 10mins,

If she is happy to do that, like she says, I wouldn't worry. You do pull your weight by cooking and shopping. Stop worrying and chill! :o)

if she really wants you to just relax, then yeah, you should. offer to help her out with stuff, but if she seriously doesnt want help, just relax and enjoy it
