crucial is good but i prefer corsair they are best.

Apple people will always promote their own brand, however, the truth is that several third parties manufacture RAM for Apple to brand under it's own name.
Same goes for all computer manufacturers.
There are only a handful of semiconductor manufacturers (for RAM modules) in the entire world .... & these few make the memory for every computer on the planet.
So long as it comes with a lifetime warranty & certification to work on your model MacBook .... go for the better deal.

I like Crucial...and thier top of the line memory is excellent! It is a good thing!
