Pulling my knowledge up about the Bermuda Triangle, it tells me that the "dangers" only occur on the ocean, not on its very limited land area.
I live at one of its corners, Fort Lauderdale, Florida!!

The supernatural forces of the Bermuda Triangle has always been a topic that was lingering at the back of my mind for a long time. But there has always been different theories in regards to this topic. According to certain Scientists, they do believe that Methane Hydrates plays an inportant role in the disappearance of ships in the Bermuda Triangle. The following is an extract from http://www.seattleluxury.com/encyclopedia/entry/Bermuda_Triangle

Methane hydrates
An explanation for some of the disappearances focuses on the presence of vast fields of methane hydrates on the continental shelves. A [http://woodshole.er.usgs.gov/project-pages/hydrates/usgspubs.html paper] was published in 1981 by the United States Geological Survey about the appearance of hydrates in the Blake Ridge area, off the southeastern United States coast. Periodic methane eruption s may produce regions of frothy water that are no longer capable of providing adequate buoyancy for ships. If this were the case, such an area forming around a ship could cause it to sink very rapidly and without warning. Laboratory experiments have proven that bubbles can, indeed, sink a scale model ship by decreasing the density of the water.
Hypothetically, methane gas might also be involved in airplane crashes, as it is not as dense as normal air and thus would not generate the amount of lift required to keep the airplane flying. Methane can cut out an aircraft engine with very little levels of it in the atmosphere.

The Bermuda Triangle is simply a name given to an area of the ocean near Bermuda. It's not the Island itself, just that area.

wow that is a tough one....I find myself asking the same question about new mexico and washington state...how can people live there with all of the aliens and big foots running around. anna nicole smith is a different story...she can do anything...that is why she was so famous...people will say it is just because she was a gold digging whore with giant boobs but they obviously are not aware of her other contributions to society...such as entertaining the white trash tabloid crowd for nearly a decade...very valuable service indeed.
