Where do you live NOW is the question. Still in NJ? Do you have to pass a smog check? I don't know why this should be a mystery to a "tech on the phone". All cars have emission control labels under the hood that will tell what specs they are manufactured too. And i am pretty sure NY has adopted the CA emissions standards and probably NJ too. I am not sure when went into effect though. Whatever car you have (CA or Federal) i think you will have to get the correct converter - since the fuel injection system and the ECM (Engine Control Module) will be calibrated to operate with that converter. Look under the hood and around the engine compartment for the emissions label. If it says it meets CA standards - then it is a CA car. If it does not say anything about CA - then it is a "Federal" car - or sometimes called a "49 State car".

If you look on the webkinz site (www.webkinz.com) they do have a store locator. You can put in your zip code and it will show you stores near you that sell webkinz.
They are sold at many hallmark stores.
