Where I live there are no lamp-posts or street lights. I do have a mercury lamp to aid in the illumination of the woods though.,

The one lamp post I have for the yard light is an old telephone pole. In fact my telephone line is still hooked to it.

Tall,grey & concrete,the old yellow lights which don't really cast much glow & the one directly facing my house has a number 1 on it.
