I don't know, It depends who he killed and why he did it. In self defence then possibly yes. If it were a child than NO WAY. There is no excuse for hurting a child.

It depends on the circumstances and the intent. If a person intentionally murders a child in cold blood, then no I could not overlook it because I believe that person is heartless. On the other hand, if the child was about to take the person's life or a family membe'rs life for no reason and at random, I could see in a moment of panic that it could happen.

I could overlook the murder of an adult. For some reason I can't overlook the murder of a child because if this person is capable of killing someone who is defenseless then he is too cold blooded for me.

There could be NO EXCUSE at all to kill a child.......

I think that is one of those questions you really don't know until you are in that situation---like jumping in a lake to save someone from drowning or pulling someone out of a fire. I would think you would need to consider that person's whole character, the facts of the crime (was it outright murder or involuntary manslaughter) and if the person is truly remorseful. I think the same would apply if the victim was a child.

Depends on the circumstances if it was an adult.

A child, no. Murder is defined as the intentional taking of life, and I could never see past taking the life of a child. . .

I have a friend that did time for what I would call justifiable homicide or self defense and I'm O.K. with it, that said I don't think I could ever trust a cold blooded murderer or anyone that killed for no good reason.
