go and get yourself to the hospital to be checked over. It depends how big you mean, but passing clots does not sound right when you are pregnant. Good luck x

Firstly I am so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is!
This is normal. I miscarried three years ago at around the same time as you. The clots and bleeding are normal but you do need to go and get checked out. You need to make sure that, for want of a better phrase, everything has come away. If you have any trace of the pregnancy left you will be given a D&C. Which is a polite phrase for a female scrape. I didn't find it painful but it just ensures that there is no trace of the pregnancy left. You then need to grieve for your unborn child and eventually become a good mother!!

First I want to say I am sorry to hear about your lost. The same thing happened to me in 03. I was around 12 weeks along. I passed huge blood clots as well as the placenta. I would suggest you go to the doctor just to make sure they don't want to do a D&C.

I am so sorry to hear your news. Yes you will have some clotting as it comes away from your body and you will bleed for a few days. You need to go and see your doctor for him to check you over and make sure it has all come away. Rest up and take things easy for a couple of days - hope you will be ok xx

i miscarried at 13 weeks although i knew my baby had died at 10 weeks, when i actually miscarried it was quite painful i passed clots of blood but the baby was actually quit large, larger than a clot. i then bleed for a week. you should def go and have another ultrasound as if you haven't passed everything it can be quit dangerous and effect future pregnancies

Give your doctor a call in the morning. It takes some time for all the tissue to be expelled, and you need to make sure all of it does get passed out of your body so you don't develop further problems. Good luck!
