My mum doesn't fancy stuff like perfume, flowers or fur. I usually arrange for a good meal outside with just my sisters and her alone (leaving the guys out). Sometimes we get her jewellery if we can afford it.
What is important is, we tell her though these little stuff that we love her and thank her for bringing us up and taking good care of us. It is now our turn to take good care of her and love her as she deserves.

I sent a huge bunch of roses to her. We live 300 miles apart so I have not seen her today, next year will be different as she is moving here!
