Interesting question...
If you are a part of Western Civilization, taking a lover while married is often frowned upon. There are some people who openly engage in extra-marital dalliance with the blessing of their spouses but that tends to be the exception.
People are inherently jealous and taking a lover can cause problems with both your spouse and your lover as one or the other (or both) will eventually get jealous. Also, take into account your feelings if your spouse takes a lover...

Taking a lover while married is called "adultery" and it's grounds for divorce in pretty much every state. It used to be A CRIME in many states but I'm not sure that it's still a crime.
Regardless, it's a bad thing to do. Get it? Marriage means you only sleep with your spouse and your spouse only sleeps with you. If that's too difficult, don't marry.

Yes anyone can attend your wedding so there was no problem in taking your lover to watch the ceremony. I hope he enjoyed it!

No, when you are married, your husband is your lover. If you don't want to be monogamous, don't get married.
