i just got my lip pierced friday and now the school is not gona let me have it in...isit a good idea just to keep refusing to take it out? i meen if i do take it out, thats 30 quid down the drain...so just keep refusin? no matter how far they take it? lol

well you can drop out of school an be a looser. because you don't know how to follow rules. 30.00 quid is a small lessen believe me they will get more expensive as you get older.

They have retainers for piercings, so you don't have to wear the jewerly and can still have the piercing, so when you go to school you just wear that and when you are out of school you can put the jewerly back in. When I was in school I had a problem with that too, I kept refusing to take it out and they finally gave up and ignored it. That was my school though, your school may be more tough about it then mine. Good luck!

That seems strange that your school can make you take it out. It's reflective of your personal style and self-expression. However, I do know pierced persons in the professional arena that use clear spacers when they are not allowed to wear jewelry. It's far less noticeable and doesn't allow the piercing to close.

If the school has a policy against piercings then they have the right to tell you to take it out and enforce it with suspension.

depends on how strict the school policy is. you can try explaining that you have to keep the jewellery in place until healing has taken place and then offer to put an invisible retainer in during school hours, that's the biggest compromise that can be made on both sides, good luck

No, a stupid lip piercing isn't worth Jeopardizing your future/risking expulsion over. Just comply.
