On July 4th, 1987, Leroy Smithson, a 400 pound American of Puerto Rican descent, while in a McDonald's in upstate New York, belched so loud after his sixth straight Big Mac, that he blew the roof clean off the McDonald's outlet.
To this day, the roof has never been put back on, and the McDonald's store has now been converted into an open air diner.
