well the times of india had an article the other day which said that scientists have started buildin a 20 mile long machine which will imitate the beginnin of the universe... and btw miniature black holes have been created in laboratories before this ...but for very small intervals of time...sayfor abt a billionth of a second or less...so yes ..u can create mini black holes and universes under controlled conditions

oh btw check out this site

hope it will help

Theoretically it's possible. If you compress matter to the point that its escape velocity reaches the speed of light, you have a black hole. It is speculated that the matter used to create the black hole is then no longer a part of this universe and becomes a universe of its own. Unfortunately there seems to be no way we could even theoretically observe the universe we would thus create. Of course this not practically possible just yet.

It is easy to create a mini black hole, all you need is a big Sun to start with, say a sun weighing 20 times more than our sun, than you wait a while, say 20 million years, and when that sun goes supernova the remains will become that mini black hole you wanted, you see how easy it is?
next time I'll tell you how easy it is to create your own universe.

We don't have the ability at this time.

One goal of science is to be able to create a black hole small enough that it does not have its own singularity. We would try to create two of these and join them with a worm hole so we could travel between them.

Black Hole, a hypothetical body with a gravitational field so strong that nothing, including electromagnetic radiation, can escape from its vicinity. How would u ever do that? And why do u want to create that?!!

only if you can compress matter until the gravitational at the surface of that object exceeds the speed of light, then can you create your very own black hole.
as far as a universe is concerned,
i guess you can create one in your head ,if you have enough imagination.
God bless,
gabe

Yes. Close your eyes and imagine a very small black hole. Tala! Easy.

You can't; you don't have any power to create such a powerful gravitational field around anything. Universe, now that you can do w/ your imagination.
