Yeah, the obvious no periods for 9 months is the BEST!!!!
Then....
-The "glow" - not everyone gets it, but I do!
-The attention
-People looking after you (especially your man)
-The hope for the future
-The feeling of power and strength that carrying a life inside you gives you!
-People giving up their seats etc... for you!
-Feeling a little person move inside you, and knowing there is a little heart beating in there!
I love being pregnant, even though it's been a complicated one this time - I'm 32 weeks now with baby number 2 and loving it!
:-)

Feeling a new life kick inside you.
Having people cater to you by opening doors, giving you the last or most comfortable seat in the room.
Increased hormone production which allows for great and multiple orgasm's.
Having an excuse to shop for the new arrival.
You get to nap or rest often and nobody will think you're just being lazy.
The baby shower with all the gifts, cake and friends celebrating your new family member.
If your mother-in-law didn't treat you well before, she will now. ;-)

You asked for it:
1.) Getting to eat whatever you want without feeling guilty.
2.) A good excuse to not have to haul heavy laundry up the steps...leave it for hubby.
3.) New clothes.
4.) More new clothes.
5.) Baby showers!!!
6.) A closer bond with your hubby.
7.) Making your parents Grandparents
And most importantly becoming a mommy to the most beautiful, smartest, sweetest, most precious little angel ever put on this Earth. (we all think that about our babies and darned if we're not all right).
Congratulations!

I love my child more than anything, but wasn't a big fan of pregnancy. The only good things were feeling the baby move (that was the best), people are really nice to you, and you have a good excuse to be lazy and not help friends move.

My husband finds me even more attractive now, than he did before I got pregnant. I constantly have the "pregnant glow" and can't really stop smiling. It's the way the baby makes me feel. It's like nothing else I've ever gone through.

Being the center of attention. Being pampered by your hubby. Feeling the baby move. Getting to eat ice cream at 2 am and no one cares.

I think the best thing is just knowing there is a life inside your womb. I mean a Life. Isnt that awesome enough. When I saw my first baby boy after the delivery, just me and him and just seeing his eyes darting here and there, curious as can be, I thot suddely hey this is a life and I am getting to know him like afriend but more than that becasue I gave life to him. Well not me, me but God of course. But its like This is Life and I am accountable....

You get special attention once you are showing, it's a time you can indulge in treats more often and not feel so guilty, Having 9 months or so with your growing baby that only you can share.
