I just started watching that CBS show "Jericho" on OnDemand Cable. It takes place in the US, in the aftermath of it being completely devastated by nuclear weapons. The Show seems so realistic, especially w/ N. Korea, and so many of are "allies" having W.M.D's, and countries like Iran so close. Add to that the former U.S.S.R. missing so much of its nuclear arsinal, suffisticated terrorist groups looking to start a "Holy War", and it makes you wonder about whether or not it's inevitable. Very Scarey. Anyway, what are your thoughts about the US or Europe, (or any other country for that matter), getting hit w/ a nuclear weapon? Also, (if you've seen it), do you like the show, and do you think it's realistic? I'm hooked myself.

For Peach: "Jercho" is on CBS (not sure about day and time, though I'm pretty sure it's on at 8pm EST, which is Channel 3, (2 on Comcast Cable), in Hartford, CT, (US), though it's probably on a different station where you live. You can also watch lots of, (four at the moment), old episodes on OnDemand, which is part of Comcast Digital Cable (I think other Cable networks might also have it, don't know about Satellite TV). OnDemand is a bunch of pay per view and also free movies and shows that you can watch anytime you want via cable modem. "Jericho" and a lot of other CBS shows e.g. Numb3rs, all 3 CSI's, NCIS, etc. are free under the "network shows catagory". Hope this helped you.

I am an avid "Jericho" fan. I never miss an episode. I believe it can happen, however, I don't believe it will be some foreign country that invades the US. I believe it will be terrorists in our own country that start the war. Misguided people who think they are "doing the right thing" because of some twisted political or moral belief.

I don't believe we will ever see a total, all out, nuclear war. I do believe that some small country will invade another using nuclear technology, and the US will probably be a target of terrorism using some kind of nuclear devise. How big it will be is going to depend on how vigilant our defenses are. Even Korea has now agreed to give up their nuclear weapons program in exchange for energy fuels. Any nuclear weapons used will probably be low or small yield, localized destruction types. Mankind is a war like, destructive animal but I don't think we are totally crazy.

I don't feel that our world will be aroung until 2050. Not the way it is going now. Won't take that long to blow ourselves to kingdom-come. What channel is this on I wonder. I wanted to watch it. I do like this kind of show. The end of the world is supposed to start in the middle east after all. Gee, where are we now.

do you advise with iran? do you even pay interest to what the iranians say? israel is the little devil and us of a is the tremendous devil.they are going for israel because israel is in the route of them, even if the actual enemy they see is us of a. except for, with nuclear guns in the palms of any fanatical regime is risky, the completed concept behind nuclear guns is for them now to not be used. a regime that believes in martyrdom and suicide bombers is a short step faraway from transforming into a nationwide suicide bomb. so imagine somewhat about the gamers formerly you're making idiotic accusations.

I love that show Jericho! IMO, I think nuclear war is the least of our problems. I think we'll do ourselves in by polluting/destroying our environment. Plants/animals are fast becoming extinct. We're using up fossil fuels quickly. We have got to do something soon or we will cause our own extinction.

A nuclear terrorist attack is more likely. It's one of the reasons why I believe our war on terror is so important.
