Yes, but as they said when Star Trek Next Generation ended ... All Good Things.

I was sad when Friends ended, when all the Star Treks except the original ended - I was only two years old when the original ended.

I was really sad when Chris Ecclestone left Dr. Who, I was determined that David Tennant wouldn't be as good, now I think he's the best yet.

Sorry, but I'm not. The series had become redundant, and a bit boring. Every program runs out of story lines after a while. I'm a big SiFi fan, but the SiFi channel has so many re-runs on that I've started renting movies again. They did have two great programs that only lasted one season. Jake 2.0 and Dead Like Me. I loved those, but they are gone too. Another one that's about to bite the dust is Battlestar Galactaca. The original was great, but this one is nothing more than an over rated soap opera. That always seems to happen to a re-make. But as the old saying goes....this too shall pass.

Yes but technically its not finished yet - they are doing two made for TV or straight to DVD movies to finish it all off.
I understand one closes the ori thread and the other has a time travel theme

I`ve picked up on Heroes - once you get into it - it gets better very episode

It wasn't the same after Richard Dean Anderson left. And I'm not a big fan of the Ori. But I am sad to see it go... at least there's still Atlantis. The next new episode of SG-1 airs the same night as my friend's rehearsal/rehearsal dinner for her wedding (I'm Matron of honor and my hubby is Best Man). Thank goodness for DVR!!!!

Yes and no. I think they would have struggled to keep it fresh (10 years is a long stint to stay creative) though it is sad to see it go. It's not as gutting as when Farscape finished and not nearly as ridiculous as Firefly getting cancelled. Though we do still have Battlestar Galactica and Heroes so it's not all bad.
